I would definitely recommend this tour, the whitney plantation is a really moving and important experience and i am so glad i was able to go and learn more about the history of slavery. Jim, our grayline tour guide, was informative and funny. As a site of memory and consciousness, the whitney plantation museum is meant to pay homage to all enslaved people on the plantation itself and to all of those who lived elsewhere in the united states.
